The ABC’s of Disability Awareness is a professional development workshop intended to provide participants with the knowledge necessary to work, communicate, and interact with individuals with disabilities. It is a great workshop for caregivers. Topics of the workshop will include person-centered planning, disability etiquette, tools to enhance communication, applicable laws, and barriers to service delivery. Accommodations will be available to anyone who wishes to participate. The workshop will be held at the Services for Independent Living in Cleveland.
